Principal’s Message

REFLECTIONS FROM THE PRINCIPAL`S DESK

With a joyful amalgamation of honour and delight, I present a glimpse into the `slice of life` at the illustrious Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana. Established way back in 1965, this time tested institution has diversified from strength to strength proudly presenting to the world each year a batch of resilient, principled and meritorious students – self-assured individuals  for whom sky is the beginning of their limit.

This miraculous metamorphosis of a cherubic kindergartener to a poised high school student is the rich reward reaped by the selfless toil of numerous stakeholders. As Albert Einstein wisely put it` nothing happens unless something is moved`. The sisters of Bethany Educational Society, Faculty members who fit in seamlessly into the roles of mentors, facilitators and guides coupled with an ever evolving administrative vision work in collaboration shaping the learners for the better- one day at a time. It is my belief that if you march with Time, you can create your own path. Hence, consistent striving for perfection are the watchwords shaping the school ethos.

This approach has seen the school fashion academicians, scholars, army officers, professionals of repute, entrepreneurs, and sports stars on both the international and national arena. It is our joy and pride to find Sacred Heartians making their mark in kaleidoscopic fields. May this forward and onward march continue unabated?

This progress has another aspect which we can overlook at our own peril- the aspect of CHANGE. The pace, nature and expanse of Change has necessitated a `culture of adaptability`. We, at SHCS spare no effort to equip our young minds to expect the unexpected and blend harmoniously with the flowing waters. Assimilation and integration will be the master keys of the Present to meet the Future.  At the same time, a strong sense of discretion is consciously nurtured encouraging the students to probe and question for a wider mental perspective. The journey on the pathways of assimilation should proceed through the crossroads of rationale.

This resilience of our students stems forth from a strong system of value and virtues which is the very breath of life at Sacred Heart Convent School. A set of 7 Core Values are followed religiously and ingrained into everyday teaching and learning. When the soft minds are conditioned to respect all and be compassionate honest and empathetic, they are equipped with the essential life skills to face each adversity with unwavering strength.

We reaffirm our commitment for inclusive education as we continue to script success stories in the aurum saga of this great institution.

God Bless You All.
