YOUTH IDEATHON IS INDIA’S LARGEST FESTIVAL OF IDEAS FOR STUDENTS. IT AIMS TO DEVELOP A SPIRIT OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SCHOOL STUDENTS.
THE COMPETITION WAS CONDUCTED IN MULTIPLE ROUNDS AND THE FINALS WAS HELD AT IIT DELHI.
NABHYA MEHTA A STUDENT OF CLASS VII-A WAS AWARDED THE ‘TOP STATE’ AWARD FROM PUNJAB FOR THE IDEA OF ‘DEVELOPING THE MOBILE APP FOR OFFLINE RETAILERS AND CUSTOMERS’. HIS IDEA WAS SELECTED IN TOP 50 INNOVATIVE IDEAS IN INDIA AND WAS SHORTLISTED OUT OF MORE THAN 62,000 STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
HE WAS AWARDED A CASH PRIZE WORTH 10,000/- RUPEES AND A CERTIFICATE IN AN AWARD CEREMONY HELD AT IIT DELHI CAMPUS. PROF. V RAMGOPAL RAO, DIRECTOR IIT DELHI WAS THE CHIEF GUEST AT THE AWARD FUNCTION WHICH WAS CONDUCTED UNDER THE AEGIS OF THINK STARTUPS ALONG WITH MEPSC.
